System: “Mish-Mash” system with SS and Aluminum kettles, Keggle, 5-gal Cooler
Mashtun, White pails, Carboys and a hand-cranked Corona mill. I’m always looking for
something new to add or replace. Also have a half dozen corny kegs, and a two tap kegerator fridge.
Signature Brews: Olde Stoppenbock, Basic Drinking Ale
Favorite Style(s): Hefeweizen, Dopplebock, IPA, Bohemian Pilsner, etc…
Grow Any Ingredients? Hops—Centennial and Newport. Just planted them in 2006. Had grown Mt. Hood
and Cascade at my old house for several years, before moving here in 2003.
Brewing Tips: Read magazines, books and on-line bulletin boards. Talk to fellow brewers who make
good beer. Practice, practice and practice your recipes. Join the club and bring samples.
